Year 5's voices matter

As part of our reading this week, we read some excellent books about influential people. Little People Big Dreams by Maria Vegara helped us to learn about people who have spoken up and caused change in our history such as Harriet Tubman, Greta Thunberg, Marcus Rashford and Amanda Gorman. We focussed our learning on Jane Goodall and created work inspired by her - what matters to us in our future.

Year 2 Mental Health Day

Today we wore bright colours to school to share our support for children's mental health. It brighten our day to see such a range of vivid colours. We also had an assembly discussing the importance of having a voice and speaking up if we are worried about anything.

Nursery - Safeguarding Week - 29-01-24

We have had a great week in nursery learning about things that will keep us safe. We looked at road safety and how to cross the road safely, we talked about car seats and wearing a seat belt in the car, we also talked about stranger danger.

PC Begum came to visit us in the nursery to tell us all about her role as a police officer, she also brought her police car for us to have a look at!
